These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of jointheinsurgence.com (the "Site") and the classes, workshops, and retreats offered by Join the Insurgence ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, booking a class, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
You need an account to book a class or view your bookings. You agree to provide accurate contact information (name, email, phone) and to keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate an account for misuse, safety concerns, or nonpayment.
Classes are held in a private residence, not a commercial studio space. Before your first class, you'll be asked to review and sign a liability waiver — booking is not possible until that waiver is signed, and its terms (assumption of risk, medical disclaimer, and release of liability) are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Payment. We don't use a card processor — payment is handled directly (Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Cash) and confirmed manually. Booking a seat reserves it; it does not by itself complete payment, and we may follow up if payment isn't received.
Cancellations & credit. Cancelling 12 or more hours before a class starts makes you eligible for account credit toward a future class, applied manually. Cancelling with less than 12 hours' notice, or not showing up, is not eligible for credit. Credit has no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred to someone else. We keep track of no-shows for our own records; this is informational and does not automatically restrict your account.
Class capacity is limited and not guaranteed until your booking shows as confirmed.
Retreats are shown for informational purposes. Submitting a "Request More Info" form registers your interest only — it is not a booking and creates no payment obligation. Retreat booking, deposits, and payment terms are arranged directly with us outside the Site and will be described separately if and when that becomes available here.
Nothing on this Site or in a class is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Participation in yoga, Pilates, movement, breathwork, or related practices carries physical and other risks. Consult a healthcare provider before participating if you have any health concern. You participate at your own risk, as further described in the waiver you sign before booking.
The Site's design, text, photography, and the "Join the Insurgence" name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
The Site may include content licensed from or attributed to third parties, including music and video. If you believe content on this Site infringes your copyright or other rights, contact us at Insurgence-urbantemple@pm.me with enough detail to identify the content, and we will address it promptly.
The Site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in a class or retreat, beyond what these Terms and your signed waiver already address.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We'll update the date at the top of this page when that happens.
